The Carbon Ecosystem

How It Works

We provide the infrastructure and services so that carbon producers can connect with carbon buyers and access sequestration solutions. This helps our partners optimize carbon usage and minimize emissions — all while maximizing value.

Overview

Once fully realized, the system will be capable of transporting:
41,000t
Per day
1.2Mt
Per month

Carbon Capture

CO₂ is produced as a byproduct of the manufacturing process. Rather than releasing that excess CO₂ into the atmosphere, our system will capture, dehydrate, and compress that CO₂ into a liquid using capture equipment that is added onto the facility without interrupting normal operations.
Once fully realized, the system will be capable of transporting:
41,000t
Per day
1.2Mt
Per month

Midstream Infrastructure

Once liquified, the CO₂ is aggregated from connected facilities and transported through a network of new steel pipelines. State of the art pipeline systems like ours are the safest and most efficient means of transporting energy products. This dynamic system will give our shippers the option to either geologically store their CO₂ or utilize terminal off-takes for commercial use.
Once fully realized, the system will be capable of transporting:
41,000t
Per day
1.2Mt
Per month

Utilization

CO₂ is made available via truck terminals and pipeline offtake hubs for value-added commercial and industrial uses, serving sectors such as food and beverage, protein processing, and waste water management. This utilization infrastructure is also scalable, allowing for CO₂ to be used in future technologies and innovative applications, such as aviation fuels, bioplastics, and other materials.

Sequestration

Liquid CO₂ is injected more than a mile underground, far below critical water sources. The geologic formation is well studied and one of the only proven storage formations in the US. Thick impermeable shale holds CO₂ in place with active monitoring systems ensuring storage complex integrity.
